Information about playing in the Calgary League
Register for the Spring & Summer 2025 season on our Reigstration Page.
Choose the appropriate age cateogry for the player. Once you have signed up, we will contact you to confirm practice times and days.
Some parents have already volunteered their time to coach teams, however, a Head Coaches, Assistant Coache(s) and Team Manager are required for each team.
Head Coach: Main coach in charge of the team practices, strategy, helping to develop players
Assistant Coach(s): Help the head coach execute practices and games
Team Manager: Schedule games/ book fields/ create and update Team Snap account etc.
Placement onto teams will be made as soon as possible after registration closes.
Registration Opens: Monday, January 20 @ 9:00am
Registratioh Closes: Saturday, March 15 @ 11:59pm
Regular Season Schdules Available Online: April 21 (on the CMSA website)
Regular season practices: will start the week of April 14
Regular Season Games Commence: April 27
Home Games: Are played at Spring Bank Field
Season End: July 25
Practices: Days/Time/Locations TBD by Coach once we know our teams.

Player cards
All competitive players must get player cards through the Calgary Minor Soccer Association. **Players will not be able to play games until they have a player card.
If they got a player card in the last year or two they should be good...check the expiry date on the card. The card must have a valid expiry date for them to play.
Cards can be created online, but need to be picked up in person in Calgary. For more info about creating a card see: calgaryminorsoccer.com

Canmore FC
Teams in Canmore FC's Competitive Soccer Program participate in the Calgary Minor Soccer Association League from the middle of April to the end of July. Teams in the competitive program practice twice a week in Canmore and play games in Calgary each week. These teams have opportunities to participate in tournaments throughout the season. Players will be provided with a home and away jersey which needs to be given back at the end of the season.
What are the costs?
Registration Fees for the Competitive 2025 Outdoor Season
Registration Opens: Monday, January 20 @ 9:00am
Registration Closes: Saturday March 15 @ 11:59pm
Canmore Coaches need to have total numbers of players by March 15th in order to register our team with Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA). Because of this, it's important that if you think you are interested, you register as early as possible. Once the CMSA registration closes, we can no longer register a team even if we have the numbers. So please register early!
****Please look at the birthdates for each age category: eg. U13 is for 12 and 13 year olds

CMSC Refund Policy
Registration withdrawals received prior to the start of the program will be fully refunded via team snap minus a $20 admin fee. Withdrawal requests after the start of the program will be refunded 50% of the registration fee. Withdrawals because of injury will be prorated based on the date of injury.
***Please note that only the program fees will be refunded and not the processing fee (as that is a fee collected by team snap and not our organization).
